Benaissance Announces COBRApoint Enhancement for Online COBRA Elections
Omaha, NE – October 19, 2011 - Benaissance, the leading provider of Software as a Service (SaaS) and single point individual subscriber billing solutions for health insurance exchanges, national benefit administrators and health plans, today announced newly released support for online COBRA elections within their COBRApoint SaaS platform.
The new COBRApoint Online Election feature has been designed to accelerate the continuation coverage election and reinstatement process, improve Member user experience, and reduce the opportunity for administrative errors and operational overhead on our administrator customers. Within the secure COBRApoint online Member Portal, the Member accesses a simple, intuitive and streamlined wizard which guides them through the election process, including the option to make premium payments for coverage. Once the election process has been completed, the Member receives confirmation of their health plan continuation elections. Once fully elected, the Member will have full access to the information rich, self-service Member Portal to view real time account information, retrieve communications and make payments.
